Overview

Headache and orofacial pain are increasingly common complaints among the general population, with studies indicating that up to 20% of adults have severe headaches, 5% report daily headaches, and up to 7% have orofacial pain. These common conditions often provide diagnostic and/or treatment challenges for health-care professionals, particularly when such conditions involve both medical and dental factors.

In this two-day course, subject-matter experts from dental and medical backgrounds will present on various aspects of the diagnosis and treatment of headache and orofacial pain, with the goal of preparing physicians, dentists, and other health-care providers to better understand the conditions and their treatments.
