Overview
This two day workshop introduces the laws, regulations and guidelines that affect professional school nursing practice. Key topics relevant to school nursing, such as emergency preparedness, infectious disease management, managing chronic diseases, and addressing behavioral health, are discussed. This is one of three training workshops mandated by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in order to be licensed as a School Nurse.
Accreditation
Continuing Nursing Education Provider Unit, Boston University School of Medicine is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
